About

(In french below)

We are delighted to invite you to the third edition of the IGDR LifeScience PhD Symposium, which will be held on the 18th and 19th of May 2026 in Rennes at the Amphitheatre B (Building 2A) on the Beaulieu campus of the University of Rennes.

The aim of this symposium is to promote the exchange of knowledge and provide a stage where PhD students from Rennes and beyond can present their work in an engaging and collaborative environment.

This year's edition is centered around three sessions: Innovative therapies, Seeing and knowing and Cellular microenvironment. We highly encourage PhD candidates to submit an abstract and share their work through an oral presentation or a poster.

You can register to the event through our registration page (30 euros for the conference and additional 20 euros for the gala).

A propos

The program

This edition will :

1.Bring light on broad axes of lifesciences from fundamental research to applied therapies

2.Allow young researchers to share their work, and engage in discussions with an audience with diverse backgrounds

Similar to our inaugural event, this year's symposium will feature three axes representative of the major research topics carried out in Life Sciences. In each axis, there will be an experienced speaker presenting her/his work for 45 minutes, followed by four slots (15 minutes) of presentations by young researchers, who will be selected based on their abstracts.
